Cox Arboretum
Today, we went to the Cox Arboretum. We were off to a slow start since the bus was late, but overall, it was an enjoyable time.

It was pretty much raining the entire time we were there, so luckily, I remembered to bring my umbrella. We had to fill out a scavenger hunt while we were there, and to to do things like find certain animals, find different types of trees, or write down what it was we ate in the Edible Garden. The Edible Garden was pretty interesting. Maryam and Alese were going around trying to eat everything, and it was pretty funny to watch. Some of the things we ate were: mint, thyme, and purple kale. We also spent a lot of time getting drenched in the rain, and even saw a large koi fish! He kept poking his head out of the water and opening his mouth. We also went to the top of the Tree Tower, where Maryam kept taking photos from that one angle where you can see the scenery in the background. There was even this one bird we saw that had orange and yellow on the tips of its wings, but it flew away before we could get a picture of it. It was a pretty fun experience, and I found being out in the wildlife to be very calming.
