Today, we spent most of our time talking about water.
"When you poop, think of me." -Miyah Dunford
People who work in water related industries, most of them from the City of Dayton Department of Water, came to visit us today. They spent time either talking about water related careers, the path that water takes to get cleansed, the different types of water systems, or how to test if the water is contaminated or not. We also got the chance to make murals. The purpose of the murals was to convince people and let them know that the only thing that should go down sewer drains is rain water. This is because the sewer drains that are in cities and other places that aren't buildings or homes take the water to our rivers. We wouldn't want to contaminate our water. I think that most of the stuff that we learned today would be very helpful for anyone who wants to work at a water related field, or was just interested it, but since I wasn't either of those things, today probably wasn't for me.
