Delco Park
Today, we walked to Delco Park.
"Are two and three the same number?" -Alese
We met an author and an artist there, who told us a little bit about their work life. We also learned about one of her newest creations, a Metot, which is a fun a combination of three animals that you think you could relate you. We were given a paper to fill out that was meant to help us create our own Metots. We first had to circle all of the personality traits that we think we had, then pick our three favorite ones. My three words were: fast, creative, and independent. We then had to pick out three animals that went with each trait. My three animals were a cheetah, an unicorn, and a wolf. We then had to write a little bit about our Metot that explained things like what their preferred habitat was, and what they liked to eat. We also had the chance to go explore Delco Park, and even found a creek and a sea turtle! It was a fun experience, and just sitting and listening to the creek water was very calming to me.
